Viber problem on 830

And I stumbled on one problem and it's a pretty big one for me.

I have problem with notifications, banners, sounds for Viber. It just wont show anything in notification center nor give me any sign when I recieve message. I tried every single thing that I've found on the net about solving this problem and it just won't work. I hard reset, soft reset after uninstalling, disable enable notif in the app, Restarting Phone (deleting everything) installing viber through web, changing languages and regions, deleting Search history in settings -> applications, turning on and off location, disabling automatic update.

I can put it in "Lock Screen" and i will get little icon when message arrives but I can not put it (or windows cant register it) in Notifications+Actions and it really frustrates me because looking at the phone all the time to see if someone is writing me just wont work.

Since I'm using Viber pretty frequently it's a big problem for me. So Push works, since im getting message when phone is in "stand by", screen turned off or anything, I just dont get notifications/sounds/banners for message im recieving.

If anyone had any solution, please let me know.

Under Viber notification settings do you have all options enabled?

Yup

Everything is "on"... Tried turning off, reset phone, turn on, reset phone, nothing...

Your post made me test Viber on my own phone (Lumia 920 Denim + Update 2) and the notification came out just fine. Not sure what else to suggest but one last try would be to flash the firmware again using the Windows Phone Recovery Tool.

I just did it... didn't help....

Now setting up all like it was before... Agony.

Do you have it installed on the internal memory or external?

Internal... Still need to buy an external SD card and then I'll try installing it again

Internal memory should've worked in a normal situation

Viber Support responded to my ticket almost instantly, but they haven't told me anything that I haven't tried already...

Thanks for contacting Viber.

Viber will not show up under that menu on a Windows Phone, like it does on an iPhone or Android. To turn on notifications, enter Viber>Settings>Notifications.

Let me know if this fixes your issue

On ratings page on Windows Phone Store i can see last 50 scores are 1* because its not giving notif anymore....

Little update...

After couple of days "not touchting anything" on my phone regarding Viber, it puts itself in Notifications+Actions but it still does not send any sound, banners or notifs in Action Centre... Weird.
