Viber problem

viber stopped giving me toast notifications a few weeks back. The live tile still works, but I've limited my use of viber as a result

Hi Guys,

I fixed Viber on my Lumia 920 today.
I had push notification issues for quite a few months now and I was able to find a way around this problem.
Here is what I did:
1. In Settings / Background tasks, I only allowed two applications to run in the background.
2. I uninstalled Viber from my phone.
3. In Settings / Storage check, I cleared the temporary files.
4. In Settings / Ringtones+Sounds, I unticked/unchecked the "all other notifications" (I saw that Viber will use its own notification sounds for push notifications).
4. I performed a soft reboot (holding down the volume down + power button).
5. After the reboot, I again cleared the temporary files in Settings / Storage Check.
6. I re-installed viber.

I am not really sure how it worked

Guys I opened this account just to say this.
My mom has a Lumia 620 (basically the lowest end Nokia Windows Phone) and she had this problem. I was passing by in the options menu in the Viber apps itself when I came across "allow push notifications" and "show text preview" and I decided to give it a shot and turn them off and on again and IT WORKED!!!! My mom now recieves the messages and the phone calls instantly by push notification (the power saver has to be off still).

Hope I could help. I was stranded on the internet before for this problem and now I want to share it with you guys out there!

I had the problem of not being able to receive calls on Viber. I only used to receive missed calls notifications.
I have uninstalled Viber and installed it again and it worked.

it helped for Nokia Lumia 625 as well.
