viber problem

I have downloaded viber to my phone Samsung 1 but when I enter my phone number to get my activation code it keeps saying that I need an internet connection when I am connected to Wi-Fi and my own phone data

Yeah i have the same problem also it says i need to be connected but im pretty connected wats happening?
