Vibrate - strong enough?

I've read in several reviews, including one here at WPCentral, that the vibration notification on the Arrive is very strong. Are others satisfied with the vibration intensity? I am NOT satisfied - I don't know if it's my battery or what, but I've missed several notifications because I didn't notice the phone vibrating in my pocket. My Evo had a very strong vibration function that was impossible to miss, and was loud enough that I didn't every have to use a ringtone. I'd like to continue that with the Arrive - no ringtones, just vibrate. Is the soft vibration just a bug that's limited to my phone? Or are others seeing the same thing?

I would rate the vibration on the Touch Pro 2 as a 10, the Arrive an 8 and on the Surround or Focus a 4.

Compared to a Palm Pixi, the Arrive's vibrate is about 100x stronger. Compared to the LG Optimus S, it's a slight bit weaker. Compared to all the flip phones I owned in the pre-smartphone days, it's a bit pathetic how weak all of the aforementioned smartphone vibrates are.
