Videos display in t.v via usb

Hi guys , my PC died on me so I am using my Lumia as a way to watch videos content.. When I connect my mobile to my t.v it show the folders but not the content inside the folders .... My t.v is LG smart t.v by the way so it has this smart share app but only for 7.5 not 8 and above so any solutions and the t.v is importing pics but not video's and also project my screen does not work by the tried it... I am on 8.1.1 Lumia 925

Have you tried the "play to" app on your phone??? if the tv can access dlna, it should work that way.

I have it does not display all my media... Also does not update regularly... Still shows videos that I had already deleted... Is there no usb option
