Viewing Flagged Emails in Hotmail

Hello! I've been trying to use hotmail over gmail lately because I like the like the Live/Hotmail calendar but it is particularly frustrating that I cannot view flagged hotmail emails with the integrated email program included in WP7. Can anyone that has used the RTM version of Mango, and who specifically has a hotmail account, confirm if you can view flagged hotmail emails in Mango? I'm going to go crazy if this hasn't been added.

Nope. I still can't flag emails and I still don't see a flagged folder.

yeah ,,

the only work around i know so far is:


Send your self the e-mail ( in the e-mail ) click on the 3 dots at bottom --> Priority --> HIGH

this way you can atlases send your flags E-mails to your URGENT section.

Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy?!?! I hope MS realizes that most people don't have access to or do not care to pay extra money to have an outlook account to be able to do something as simple as flag an email. You can flag emails in Gmail on WP for god's sake! I can't believe they decided to support the "to-do list" from the live calendar but not the ability to flag messages. Ahhh!

I agree. It's wierd that Gmail supports it but not Hotmail. It's annoying, but minor to me.

I still can't set flags on my WP7 for emails in Hotmail...has this been fixed? I can't imagine how this can happen especially for Hotmail!

Hotmail flags in Windows Phone 8?

Can anyone now confirm whether or not WP8 supports email flags for Hotmail accounts? Freakin' rediculous.

Hotmail has always supported Flagging when configured as an Outlook (Exchange and Office 365) account in Windows Phone.
Default Windows Live account for Hotmail does not support flagging.

This has always been a weird gap. It's not just flagging mails, it's server side searching as well. Works absolutely fine with gmail and Outlook accounts, but not Windows Live ones.

You can configure a Windows Live account using the Outlook option in WP7 and you then gain flagging and searching abilities. It doesn't work well though if you have email aliases setup as it seems to randomly pick one to use.

I hope WP8 has fixed this.
