Probably not, so far the Xbox One has tried to decode everything I have thrown at it. Unless of course it is transcoded before it is sent to the Xbox One into something the Xbox One can understand. I can't even get the Xbox 360 to recognize 5.1 soundtracks on movies, no matter what container, yet. I know I am talking about a different console but this is the hell I am in right now. I do know as long as the Xbox Video player built into Windows 8 or 8.1 will recognize the video then you can stream it to the Xbox 360 or the Xbox One, this I have done successfully.Anyone know if we can finally stream mkvs and other unsupported formats to our xbox over dlna using the new VLC for Windows 8 app?
