VPN's compatible with WP 8.1?

Now that i have windows phone 8.1(absolutely mind blown), I want to get a VPN that can bypass my school restrictions. Any tips? Thanks

tip: the VPN support is most likely NOT compatible with your school's "non enterprise" VPN because Microsoft only supports "Enterprise VPN"

There are opensource VPN clients but ultimately, the FW you are trying to circumvent has to allow the traffic.

Sorry, I thought you meant VPN clients in general. As for VPN clients for WP, the only one I know of are the ones that come with WP and Checkpoint.

Looking at the supported protocol stack in the VPN setup, I get the sinking feeling that ProXPN isn't going to work. Has anyone tried? I'm just feeling lazy right now...

I don't think so any free vpn support WP 8.1 if you want to bypass your school restrictions then buy a PureVPN or wait to pass out the school life PureVPN support Windows Mobile you can see tutorial here Windows 8.1 Mobile Tutorial - PureVPN Community

I'm looking for a paid vpn, not happy with the apps I had found. Have vpn.me but not very fast.

It is compatible, but you have to change some things on your advice and it will work
took me a while but now it's working quite good

Only thing is that Bing news and finance do not work under VPN in Windows phone
