What is linked between tracking of location and soft reset

A soft reset will refresh the phone in all cases, and serves as a first line of defense against gremlins. And I believe it clears the phone's cache.

Embarrassingly enough, I don't have a windows phone at all. Just a feature phone to make calls and sms, nothing more
