I think that the apps could be run on wp8.1 but can't prove that can anyone get the xap of any new app and deploy it on his phone to try

W10M apps do not run on WP8.x. However, WP8.x apps will run on W10M.

Well what i think is that since the code language isn't change and only the design changed and they opened up some restrictions so why not
