W10m: Images in sms say you need to install an app for this task. Why?

W10m: Images in sms say "you need to install an app for this task."

On my L920, when I receive an image in a text message, the image is visible in the thread, but when I click it to enlarge I see the "Search for an app in the Store? You need to install an app for this task. Would you like to search for one in the Store?"

Is there a way to fix this issue?

The Photos app is responsible for opening message photos. You may want to try reinstalling that from the store.
