W10M to WP8.X Recovery for Lumia 830 RM-985

Hello.

I haven't done this in a long time so my memory is a little fuzzy about recovery. I have a Lumia 830 RM-985 which is running Windows 10 Mobile Preview build 10536. I was looking to roll back to windows phone 8.x in order to get to the newer builds. However I've hit a snag. Windows Device recovery tool ends up with "No package available for this phone."
This was the prototype device that I bought off another forum member here then I flashed one of the Canadian ROMs (I don't remember which carrier though)

The question I have is. Will it be possible to use Nokia Care Suite to flash the device back to WP 8.X directly from W10M preview? I do not want to brick the device so if anyone has experience with this. Please let me know.
