I don't think so. I'm guessing you got problem with power button, if you had Lumia device you could double tap on screen to wake it up but HTC (and Samsung) doesn't have that trick as long as I know

OK...i am sorry to hear that...the thing is that the power button is not so easy to find&press so i am searching for alternatives
