Well... sort of...

I've found my own little way to deal with the app-gap..
I've installed Bluestacks on my laptop at home - Add a little Teamviewer action on top of that , and on my Lumia 920...and voila...
You have a slow... laggy... but functional android app running on your phone :)

The new version of Bluestacks does a fairly decent job on my laptop - does require a restart after a while since it starts lagging ( Lag-droid anyone ? )

I'm sure someone with a good data connection can get more mileage out of this since it does run fairly well on the same wi-fi network..

The things we Windows Phone users have to do...

After a few weeks bluestacks will start doing annoying things and locking you out. They have some really bizarre requirements for continuing to use it.

You should look up Andy OS and keep that one in your bookmarks for when that happens.

I actually did download Andy as well.. for whatever reason it seemed to be running a little slower than Bluestacks..
Seemed to have more features than Bluestacks for sure.

I'm only a few days into using Bluestacks though, so hopefully I don't run into any roadblocks with it.

Bonus points for dedication.

I'll be honest it sounds more like a Rube Goldberg machine than gaming solution LOL.

I was doing the same thing with BlueStacks running on my desktop PC. Only I don't use TeamViewer... I use Remote Desktop.

My real fix for the app gap was to keep my 1520, but decommission it and repurpose it as a WiFi only device to keep up with WM's progress with... and went out and bought a new iPhone 6S Plus 128GB! :D

Problem solved!

I was just thinking today that I can make the 1520 a mobile PLEX server; load up my 64GB SD card with movies so I dont have to leave my desktop PC at home running all the time as the server.
