I used to tell all my buds that were into Linux that "this will be the year of the Linux desktop". So I think it is very fair and very true when they say "this will be the year of WP". we all know it will not be. let's face it. WP is Linux marketshare figures all the way to the next decade. and with MSFT already behind in wearable tech, things will just continue not working out for MSFT until they get EARLY in any market....and we're running out of markets. Let's see:
phones- marketshare ~ 3%
tablets - marketshare 2%
cars - basically 0% now that ford ditched them.
glasses/waches - basically 0% and android is about to release and SDK meaning it will remain so.

maybe MSFT needs to get into the freaking oil business. that moves slow enough for it to catch up.
