Was I blocked by my friend in whats app or did he just remove my number from contact?

i used to be able to see his picture and status and last login if i set my info to show to contacts now it doesnt just his phone number shows. when i deleted whatsapp and reinstalled it using an alternate number his picture, info etc popped back up. Did he block my old number or just delete it from his contacts to make his picture and last login dissappear?

I suspect he deleted your old number but why not ask him?
