Well, I was at our local AT&T store yesterday, and it appears the rumors were true; it's the beginning of the end for our beloved 1520...

A few weeks ago, this table was labeled "1520" below this 1520. It had from left to right, the 635, the 830, and the 1520. Now they've changed the table (even though the green 1520 is still there on display, the table now only has "635 and the 830" printed on it. They're obviously phasing out the 1520.

Are you surprised? AT&T is consistent...they've carried flagship WPs for a year only each time over the past 4-5 years.

No, I'm not surprised.. especially after seeing all those "1520 discontinued" threads that popped up. It just took a little longer for our local stores to catch up.

I would like to think a successor to the 1520 is coming but I doubt it

I don't think T-Mobile.will carry any flagship phones since its riding the iPhone band wagon :/ don't blame them since that's where the money is at

Well today has definitely been eventful. Went to IKEA and got some new furniture for my office, but we had practically gale force winds here today, which meant loading up the new goodies into the car was no less than a nightmare. I had to go and get some rope from IKEA to keep the boot lid shut! I didn't get back until about 5pm and then I had to gut my existing room, put the desk together, mount a TV on a wall and then sort out my setup again. It's 11pm and I've only just got everything setup again.

What a day!
