We need a Snapdragon X-powered gaming handheld sooner rather than later — How Qualcomm can challenge the Steam Deck

If they can manage it, I'd love to see a budget Windows Gaming Handheld running on ARM with a power performance similar to Steam Deck. The Legion Go S proves that windows handhelds will have a huge problem pushing the price down into that budget range to properly compete with a SteamOS handheld there. However, I'd just never hold my breath on Microsoft pulling off the proper work needed on emulation with their prism translation layer. They'd also need to build an ARM based gaming (Xbox) version of the windows OS to keep things effecient and power draw low. Like I guess I could see this part of their OEM plans or Xbox handheld. Still there'd need to be so much work from Microsoft and Qualcomm and like... It's Microsoft. But hey it'd be really neat if this was what the Xbox Handheld was worked on being. Like if this was the plan to keep the cost and battery usage down.

I am wondering if this is the factor delaying the xbox handheld. A snapdragon handheld would be gamechanger and bring a serious alternative to the switch 2 with performance and battery life. Current gaming performance on this chip is with translation, not even native ARM games. Either way the xbox handheld still being in the works makes me hope that there could be an ARM version. It only needs to reach series S level performance.
