-I am a SSG. in the New Hampshire National Guard, and this picture was taken late in the afternoon while my troops were working hard on our resupply vehicles, tying down empty rocket pods.

This photo was taken on my Lumia 1020 with the Nokia Camera app. It was edited just a touch, increasing the vibrancy just a tad, to get the sky's blue just right.

It was taken along a section of Oak Creek, just south of Sedona, Arizona. It was a really great spot, I got many great photos!

I took this one after just getting home from work and there was no electricity, it was getting dark so i went to the window and this is what i saw .

This is one of the six huge flak towers (Flak tower - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia) in my home town Vienna, Austria, built during WWII by the Nazis to defend the city against airstrike. Some of them are now being re-used for civil purposes, others - such as this one, located in the beautiful baroque park Augarten - are slightly damaged and not being used. There have been plans to wreck some of the buildings, which failed due to the sturdiness of the constructions. I run past this building during my (almost) daily workout routine. It's like a rocky man-made mountain in the middle of the city, taken over by vegetation and birdlife (you can see birds flying around the top of the tower on my photo). I love how its appearance changes every day, depending on season, time of day and weather.

The photo was taken last winter with a Lumia 925, using the Nokia Camera app, and edited with the Photos app in Windows RT 8.1.

"break at sunrise"
I was running with my girlfriend at the ferry port Mawasangka, and I saw the boat and beautiful sunrise. The boat docked after overnight wear for fishing

During my vacation i Zadar-Croatia i was photographing the sunset with my Lumia 920.
I saw a beautiful girl sitting by the side smiling and watching the sunset.
She seemed interested in what i was doing and i wanted to meat her.
So i picked up some courage, approached her and asked if i could take a few photos with her and the sunset in behind.
I asked her to pose in the position on the photo and let me set up my tripod, my lumia 920 and play with the settings for a bit.

The setting:
White balance: auto
Focus: manually adjusted
ISO: 100
Shutter speed: auto
exposure/brightness: lowered it a bit to get the full color range of the sunset
set the timer to 2s
and bracketing to 3 photos -1EV to +1EV (in case i want more details later "HDR", blending and so on in photoshop)

Editing:
The silhouette photo was easy and didn't require much detail so i edited it straight on my Lumia 920.
And of course sent i to the girl later

I used Nokia Creative Studio to edit the brightness, vibrance, shadows and clarity.
Saved the photo and used Fhotoroom to add a little bit of a few filters.

And thats it :evil:

2 Weeks after this photo was taken at our favorite spot in Chatham, on Cape Cod, Ma. a 14 foot great white shark was spotted swimming around in this exact spot for several hours.... I used the action shot feature on the Lumia 1020, and accidentally left the last image of the kids hitting the water, you can see the water is disturbed while the kids are still in the air. No edits at all.

I'm not sure if it's silhouette enough, but it's something I've always wanted to share with others
It's from the 2014 NYC World's Fair, back in May. I took it on my Lumia 521 using the default MS camera. I didn't edit it, the people came out darkened because of the sun being behind the Unispehere, IIRC.

Taken with my Lumia 920 at Folly Beach, SC in January 2013. We had a weekend of freakishly warm weather and decided to go camping at James Island County Park, spend some time at the beach and sample the local seafood. My daughter loves the beach and was overjoyed at getting to put on some shorts and play in the sand in the middle of the winter.

The warm air and cold water combined to create an eerie fog/mist along the shore. I used auto settings on the camera app with no post-processing.
