Weird 3G connection issue

Hi Guys,

I would like to ask for your help. I am having this weird 3G connection with my phone. My office area has a good 3G and HSDPA connection but my phone always stays with EDGE. Recently, I tried connecting to one of the office Wifi then upon connection my signal changed to H+. When I turn off Wifi, after a while connection will go back to EDGE and stay there. I really do not have a good explanation as to why this is happening. I have tested this for 1 week and it's consistent.
Anybody with the same issue?

this might be stupid, but could it be your operator not allowing you to connect over 3G?

Hi taymur. I have an unlimited data plan and 3g works fine in the area where I live. My problem is only in my office area. 2 weeks ago I had a galaxy s3 and 3g signal was always full. I wish there was a way to force 3g connection on a lumia 920.
