I was getting this issue with my camera, not all the time, but sometimes when switching to camera mode either camera or video, the screen image will start distorting like shifting from side and warping, with a crackling sound.
I know it sounds really strange but I don't know how else to describe it. It makes it difficult to record video because the effect shows up in video like its happening at the camera sensor level.
Maybe something wrong with the OIS module?
I haven't noticed it recently because I've been using my DSLR more often now than my phone, however when it does happen it is a real pain especially when there is something important I want to take picture of.
