Just thought I throw this out there and I know this forum is pretty dead these days, but what the heck, and who knows maybe someone has had this happen also. I've never experienced anything like this before on any tablet or laptop computer ever. I've had my surface 2 since launch day and it has been stellar everyday ever since, no issues with it at all. This morning I fire it up as usual and go to my first website. It asks me to sign in, weird because I seldom get asked, but ok I sign in. Seems a tad slower than usual. Long story short I visit my usual same sites, same everyday and each one wants me to sign in. None of these sites are security sites, just various forums I frequent and other things I'm interested in where I can chat with others of like interests. Is my surface somehow infected with a virus or something? Is the hard drive going out? Something else I noticed that maybe makes me think hard drive issues, I checked for updates, thinking maybe I missed one and it would help. There was one waiting so I click install and it says I don't have enough disc space! WTF! Not enough space? Thats impossible as I don't have anything stored on here at all, it is completely bare bones lean.
I could see having to sign in once in awhile but not all 25 sites I visit each day and not being able to install an update due to lack of disc space when I have basically nothing on the damn disc to begin with. I'll probably try a hard reset back to factory condition in a day or two, but thought I'd wait and throw this out to anybody passing by. TIA
