I hate to be the negative but I am going with release on the 16th with a possible announcement on the 9th. If tomorrow is the day though... My cash is still waiting for Verizon to take it!

No, they won't release on 14th. Every phone I can think of has released on Thursday. Again, if I'm wrong, I'll eat a 16 ounce ribeye. But if I'm right, it's a slab of baby back ribs!

Its also called keeping an open mind. Think about it. Theres a Lumia announcement in <2 weeks. We've had 1 decent catwalk leak, and tonnes of 928 leaks. Plus as people keep pointing out, if Verizon announce their US exclusive at the same time as the next gen worldwide device (which if anything will be superior) then people will likely hold of for it, much like people have been doing since January for the 928

Those bands are all there because Verizon smart phones are now all world phones. It doesn't in the least suggest that the phone will be sold outside the US.

Probably not, which is why this device exists in the first place. I was waiting for this device but I might jump ship to ATT now since Catwalk is close and my contract is up.

Catwalk is a minor 920 refresh. It will make the 928 obsolete like the 928 made the 920 obsolete. I wouldn't be surprised if catwalk is a 928 with aluminum body.
