I don't like this, I mean, three colors that don't even go all together...
Well, as the anciet Romans would say, De gustibus et coloribus non est disputandum

The black and gold version looks much better to me. It feels more... luxurious, more premium.

thats true... the front side is also black... hmmm

do you guys think these are 930's that were pulled in the market because they were not selling enough and was just repainted to be resold as a new style?

I am curious about this as well. The Lumia Icon apparently has hardware issues, and so do some 930s. The Icon was promptly retired. I wonder if they fixed something before releasing this batch of 930s - they very well could have. Might not be easy to find which hardware was replaced. One test - see which phone has better WiFi reception.

Yeah, I dunno. They need to stick with two colors. Black and Gold, or more preferably White and Gold.

I find it incredibly ugly. Gold is generally an ugly color, in my opinion, and I find white electronics to similarly look bad (particularly when glossy). I'd much rather something have the dark metal of the Icon or the 16-GB Zune HD.

But why is Microsoft still having nokia logo?

I like it, but i hate copying what other companies r having, thats why iam the only person in my family using windows phone.

That is because this Gold lined Lumia 930s are supposed to limited edition and the Nokia Lumia 930 was the last lumia flagship sold with the Nokia branding.

There's no evidence that the 930/Icon's minor hardware issues are the reason that the Icon was retired. It's far more likely, as has been stated by Windows Central, that it was retired due to short demand. Which is a travesty. But we don't help the situation with all this silly language about massive "hardware issues."

Yes, Lumia 930 is the best design I've seen in any Lumia device. But for a gold version, they should have used golden color back, that would match with the frame.

I have one of these and it's a stunning phone. I wanted the Black/Gold 930 but the vendor only had the White/Gold in stock. I don't see the back of it as I have it in a case. The white rear is in a glossy finish, of which I'm not a fan, but it can always swapped out for a standard black rear. The lettering on the back is all in gold too.

In answer to the question are these just sprayed gold, no they're gold all the way through the metal casing.

One important thing to note is they were all released to the Asia market, and are 000-HK variant or similar, so warranty way be an issue but the vendor had an extended warranty included in the purchase.... Coming from a 920, no, I don't miss Glance, and I used Glance heavily. I don't even think about it now, but the question always gets asked, so I thought I'd preempt it

I think the Lumia 930 looks beautiful in every way. Can't wait till I get mine!
