I've seen brand new 1020's on another site for sale for $899. Why would anyone pay more than the $609 that they sell for on the AT&T site??

Without a source link its hard to say why the price of the 1020 elsewhere would be higher. Could be an international version, not sure. Your post is light on details. Please clarify and cite your sources.
