What APN settings does the Lumia 8.1 need?

Hi, i need help please... Lumia 8.1

I don't know what APN and all the other info they need means. I am using gmail.
I am also struggling to download free apps and games, I cant connect to stores.

1. for APN ask your mobile operator
2. make microsoft account - What is a Microsoft account?
Only with a Microsoft account can you get apps in the Windows Phone Store
