What are the steps to move over to the 586 W10m Insider ring?

I have a 640 running Insider build 14295.1005 (don't laugh). I want to start downloading updates on the 586 ring. What are the steps? Type slow, I'm getting old....

You can only install higher numbered builds than what you already have. To go from 14xxx to 10586 requires wiping the device with the Windows Device Recovery Tool (WDRT). You'll lose all your personal data in the process, optionally restore from backup, and need to install the Insider app to choose Release Preview or just stay on production.
