I think we could all use a breather and settle down. I haven't seen one yet so let's start a drinking thread. It's simple: just let us know what type of libation you're currently enjoying. I'll start.

Drankin' on Campari on ice. Worst alcohol I've ever tasted. Got it free from the casinos, so whatever. It's free.

What's Campari? I'm familiar with a lot of beer and whisky, but I've never heard of it.

Last time I was in Vegas I asked for Jack when it was time for the free drinks.

It's classified as "bitter". Its not beer. Its not whiskey. Its bitter. I know little about it. Try Binging it.

Ugh! Sounds gross.

No ice in my beer or hard cider. I do like Strongbow or snakebite (half cider/half lager).

Damn! I haven't had a snake bite since I lived back in Bay Area. Seems like very few bars around here carry pear cider on hand. But then again I haven't asked in a while.

Sadly, something happened to my body last year that prevents me from ingesting alcohol. It makes me sad because I loved hoppy craft beers (no domestic horse urine!!), red wines, and exceptionally peaty Scotches like Laphroaig.

These days I drink a wide variety of black teas. In the evenings I may have some non-alcoholic beers that are actually quite good: Kaliber, Buckler, and Clausthaler. And I love Mello Yello, Ski, and Dr. Enuf sodas.

I'm not drankin' right now :( but I had me some of this just the other day:

No Label Don Jalepeno Ale
#6396
My rating: 3 Stars
Brewery: No Label Brewing Co.
Style: Herbed/Spiced Beer
Location: Katy, TX - United States

Description: There?s not as much kick from No Label?s variation on their Pale Horse as the name might suggest. Though there is a peppery nose and a spicy, back-mouth finish, this jalapeno ale is very drinkable. 60 pounds of jalapenos (half roasted, half fresh) go into each batch.

Very sorry to hear that, speed :(. But you gotta do what your body tells you. Enjoying life is more important than enjoying a pint of beer. I'll cheers to your Mello Yello, which I didn't know they still made. lol

The spiced parts sounds intetsting. Never had one of those before. Its the herb part Im worried about. Campari (what I was drinking last night) is said to be evolved from an herbal drink, which gives its bitter taste. Nasty stuff!

Oh yeah, Mello Yello is very popular all across the South. It's slowly making inroads here in St. Louis, but is sometimes hard to find.

Drankin' as I type:

Harpoon Ginger Wheat

Meh, tastes like a Lime N' Lager though :( which is a Harp Lager with a splash of Sprite and a twist of lime. Should have saved the money and bought the mixed beer.

I like coffee of all types when I do not have alcoholic beverages.
