What case do you use and what is your review?

A new 1520 user here. I bought the Nokia folio (cp-623) with the phone. The pro's are that it is very thin and light, it adds grip to the phone, the phone fits snugly and it doubles as a stand. The cons are that it is expensive ($40 at ATT store), it doesnt feel like it adds much protection from drops and my biggest complaint - It makes using the Camera really awkward.

Before buying the phone, I had already ordered the Abacus case of Amazon. It should be here very soon. I will give a review on that one. My expectation is that it will feel nicer (pleather vs plastic) and it has a place for credit cards. But I can already see myself looking elsewhere, as I hate the camera being covered when you open the case.

I wish there was an otterbox or equivalent. Those are quality and they truly protect the phone.

One inexpensive case that I like is the Amzer Pudding case. It's gotten good "reviews" on this board from other users, and is quite inexpensive. It doesn't offer otter box-like protection, but it will prevent the little nicks and scratches you might get without a case in everyday use. I'm not sure there is an otterbox type case available yet.

Does anyone own a case that raise/lifts the front so that it does not lay flat if you set it down?

i use the incipio black charging case. protects the phone in all areas. i'm a wireless charging guy. that's why i bought it no regrets..

Nillkin brand with screen protector for $9. Thin, light, hard plastic with grippy texture. Protects camera lens too.

Got the Abacas case of Amazon in. I like it much, much more than the Nokia one. But I still hate that the camera is covered when open it up.

Thinking about ordering a standard case, but I love having the screen covered.

I'm using the "Amzer Pudding" case from Amazon... Cheap, slim, and has a great feel... It also accepts the stock charging cord with zero issues... I would buy again in a snap!

I am using the Nillkin Hard Back case. It was already reviewed here in WPC. It is slim, feels durable and adds grip, but the phone feels much thinner without it. I only use it when I sleep (to avoid accidental drops) or when I go to our mine site, since it's dusty there. On all other instances, I use it with only a separate matte screen protector on.

And btw, Nillkin provides a free clear screen protector. Had used a Nillkin case too with its screen protector since my Lumia 625, but the screen protector itself isn't scratch-free (or maybe I was less careful before).
