I think this is a perfect example of someone overreacting to a thread. Is this a guy trying to start trouble? I briefly went through his post history I don't see signs that he is trolling on a regular basis. What do you guys think? Is this guy a Troll or just a guy making a statement about a shortcoming of WP.

I saw it when he posted it last night. I looked at it because the title, " This is why Windows Phone is SO far behind" made it sound like it was a hater thread. Then I saw it was about a toy, so I thought it was a joke thread and left it.

Did AngryNil overreact a bit? Yes I think he did overreacted a bit, but that's ok. I'd rather have people overreact and report potential problems, rather than under react and not report potential problems.

Normally, if someone reports a problem and I take no action, I'll PM them and thank them for the report and tell them we are watching it. Then if action is or isn't taken later, it's all good.

I see Eric closed it. That's good by me. We are always going to back each other up, which is extremely important.

Also I want to say I did not know Eric had closed the thread before I posted in it. I thought he closed it after my post I did not see his post. I would not have reopened it had I known. We must have been working on this at the same time.

He has been off and on negative I've noticed. We'll give that thread 48 hours to see if it goes anywhere but my prediction is nowhere which is why it was closed.

It seems strange that the guy chose such a niche app to highlight WP shortcomings. I don't know if he was trolling or not, but it will be interesting to see the direction it takes.

My thought on the topic is that it is a good topic to discuss. The OP chose a rather obscure app to make the point but the point is valid. You could add to that apps like banking apps and TV Station apps for example. When will we see those. I think it is a good topic got the community to discuss. Especially if Microsoft reads the forum and I think they do.
