Although i am not an owner yet, i would want to have these features before i buy it, so I want:

1- Reduce the sharpness to between 808 and 1020 and add an option for Sharpness as slider like iso with +5 and -5. The highest sharpness like what nokia 1020 is now will be +5 while the lowest will be like 808 with -5. Keeping both parties fans happy.

2- Reduce punchy colours or saturation into somewhat s4 like or between 808 and 1020, same slider thing, -5 and +5. where +5 will be like current 1020 colors and -5 will be natural 808 like colors. Also will make both parties happy.

3- Reduce the noise and grain as much as possible without losing detail. Shorter lag between shots (suggest by antiochian2010)

4- Add a software video stabilization to stabilize the video even more inside the phone but without losing detail, especially the sudden shakes that come when moving.

5- Add the ISO - 50 back in the 1020.

6- Returning 8 megapixal mode, suggested by Rebelatheart.

7- Saving profiles or presets, suggested by MAERSK and antiochian2010.

The question is how to reach this message to nokia and make them work on these.

Higher resolution would be nice, as it's competing against phones with1080p screens. Also, removable memory card and battery would be nice.

Everything SuperMag & Desmoface wrote plus two more..

1) Ability to save settings profiles

2) Shorter lag between shots.

Maybe not presets, but for the phone to at least save my settings every time I open and close it. It currently resets everything (except the flash) back to "Auto".

1. Ability to save multiple reframed photos to the camera roll without deleting the original 5mp photo.

2. If possible, to use the hardware volume buttons for zoom in and zoom out.

At first I read this as what would I want in a new hardware revision. Then I would ask for bigger sensor, bigger pixels if not just more of them. Take this Pureview to the next level!!!

But I think this thread is geared toward software updates. So I would like to see sharpness slider, faster photo processing or saving. Swipe to camera roll, save settings, lower ISOs....

Allow the app to act like the OS default camera app and use it as pocket-to-picture camera app without requiring PIN code if phone is locked.

Yeah that would be great, but I think thats an OS limitation, probably for security reasons.

This, plus what was said in the 3rd post about saving profiles, plus...the 8 mp pureview mode from the 808.

Just asking did you see "Feedback" option in settings of Nokia Pro Cam ? - I think that Nokia is very eager to have your feedback and suggestions ... :)

+1 for presets. Presets should also be available to be pinned as tiles for quick access.
+1 for using volume controls to zoom in/out
+1 for general algorithm/processing improvements (always a good thing)
+1 for improved performance, reduced lag between shots
+1 for more image and video output file options

also,
1. ability to use multiple lenses/filters at the same time when capturing photos.
2. improved front-facing camera for selfies and skype; plus ability to capture images from both cameras at the same time
