It seems like after the update my 1520 is chewing through battery much quicker than it normally did and I went to go see if any new background tasks got activated and the option is no longer there. :eck:

Edit: Never mind... I found it under Battery Saver. Man, every damn app that could run in the backgorund was running in the background after the update. I had to change nearly 2 dozen! lol

Worth checking out asap as I had loads of apps which were allowed to work in the background.

Yeah, I noticed too that after the 8.1 update, I had a bunch of apps that were all of a sudden "allowed" to run it the background. Had to turn those off...

Boy would it be nice if there was a way to filter or multi-select apps. Having to scroll through all of these apps even if they're not allowed or able to run in the background is a step backwards for the UI. Or maybe in addition to Usage and Settings pivots they could have also added "Background Tasks".

Really missing the option to turn the background task back on automatically when opening the app. Not sure why this has been removed.

I was just looking into this also. Since updating to 8.1, Good for Enterprise is not updating its live tile. When I go into Battery Saver, it shows several applications as allowed to run in the background, but when I click on Good, it does not have an option to either allow or disallow its running in the background. Anybody have ideas?
