What is the best way to clean the charger contacts on my Microsoft Band 2?

My Microsoft Band 2 will not function or charge even though it is hooked up to the charger.

I use isopropyl alcohol and a cotton swab. Dab the swab, squeeze it to remove excess liquid and then run over the charging contacts. That's my method for my fitbit

I just used a dry microfiber cloth. That worked for me.

Did you try any of those? Does it now charge?
