I have both but they both seem to be almost the same thing. Is there a difference in the quality I'm missing??

The beta version is for the non-pureview and has less range of iso's and shutter speed .

The last beta update a few weeks ago brought support for 1020 and 1520's increased range of iso/shutter speed
