What is wrong with my Nokia Camera App?

Odd behavior with Nokia Camera App

This has just began, when I try to take a picture using the Nokia Camera App, the app loads, I can click the icon to take the picture,but the picture is never taken and after clicking the camera icon, I'm immediately brought back to the main windows tiles screen ?

Thats an app crash... don't know why it happens but it does happen with a lot of other apps but not very frequently.
A soft reset (volume down+power buttons) should solve your problem.

haven't happened to come cross this problem yet. MS was about to change nokia cam with their own cam app. Do a soft reset & see if it works. My UC browser crashes sometime

Try taking a picture with a different camera app to make sure it is just the app itself and not the hardware.
