What OS version works best with Continuum?

I've been using Continuum for about a month and find it buggy as hell. I only really need it for outlook, browsing in edge and basic word processing and have had numerous problems.

At the build conference last week there were several examples of Microsoft executives showing off the power of continuum and it seemed to work perfectly every time. They were web browsing, running games, power processing and generally blazing through multiple programmes without a hitch. My experience of continuum is VASTLY different.....open more than 4 browser pages and the thing pretty much freezes and dies

So this got me thinking....what version of W10M are those guys on stage running...and is it my current W10M OS that's causing continuum to be a nightmare.

I'm part of the fast ring, running build 14295.1000

As it stands, I'm unable to check for any firmware updates for the continuum box because the 14295 build and the gadgets app aren't talking to one another....no idea if/when that's going to be sorted out.

I'm really keen to make continuum a main part of my productivity suite, but the instability issues are dragging it down.

If there's anyone out there who's having great results with continuum I'd love to hear from you....what OS build are you running?

At this point I'll gladly roll back to an earlier build and leave the insider programme if it means getting continuum to work better.

Thanks

I would avoid any preview Redstone builds from Fast at this moment, they have really big issues with stability, compatibility and battery, just go with latest official .164 which is the best build of W10M yet.

I use continuum heavily in my work. I connect my 950xl to the dock 8-hours per working day. I always open more than 4 tabs in edge and most of the times it works fine. ms word is not so stable at all as it is easy to crash. the overall stability of continuum is high. I feel comfortable to reply on it though sometimes it crashes unexpectedly. my 950xl is running 14295 now.

I'm going to roll back to 164 and see what the stability is like. If it's no different I'll download the insider app and boot back up to 14295.....I guess it's worth a try and at least by rolling back I might be able to get the gadgets app to recognise the continuum dock and run a firmware update.

I'm on 164 and find very few problems. I don't use my laptop any more. When the edge add blocker is added, I won't want for anything. I switch between mirroring and continuum depending on what I am doing, and what app I need to use.
