What resolution camera do you get

Hi everyone, I downloaded a hardware test and it showed that max resolution of my camera it can take is 3072 x 1936
That's only 6MP right?

Could someone double check if they get the same on a hardware test?

Which programm did you use...??With #1Toolkit my L820 shows ne 3552x2448 8MP... Try this programm and check hardware again...

I used an app called hardware test but I'll try that now and update on it

It doesn't really matter if an App reports it wrong. What size are your pictures?

Take a picture transfer it to pc and see on details what the resolution is... Make sure of your settings before taking a picture that is in highest resolution...

Will do that now the reason I question this is my pictures aren't of that much of a good quality they seem to be grainy at times...

From what i have read in forums if you are using WPD 8.1 cause of the lack of cyan firmware update camera is having some issues with tha picture quality...

shouldn't have anything to do with it , the camera app and black firmware contain everything to do with the camera not the windows software ;-) cyan might improve the camera further but running developer preview shouldn't effect image quality

Yes looking at computer getting 16MP and got to say they look better however video is atrocious

EDIT: These are ones from OneDrive, still need to transfer and look at phones.
