What Tile Layout do you use?

Mine goes like this:
Messaging - Gmail
Whatsapp - Zune
Calendar
IE - Xbox/games
Pictures
Marketplace - WiFi toggle
Settings - People
(blank) - Phone
Gmail 2 - Me

Blue accent and I switch between light and dark all the time, they both look so good I can't stick with one for too long :)

I sometimes go on and off with tiles separators, so my tiles are basically categorized. I have Teal accent with Dark background. I had Light background before but I changed it to Dark because it was annoying me at night and I didn't want to keep switching back and forth.

Calendar
Phone, Settings
WiFi, Data
People, Messaging
Me, Girlfriend
Check Data Check Minutes
IE, Marketplace
Linked Email, Email 2
Pictures
Rest are apps

I've used it - it works well for some things but it won't be able to replace all your tiles. For example, you can dial a specific contact, like your wife or whatever, but you can't have the tile simply open up to the dialer. Or, likewise, you can send an email to a specific recipient, but you can't just open directly to your email to check it.

Which calendar is this? Looks amazing.

It's "Appointile". It works ok - it only updates properly if you have your calendar synced to Windows Live. And you can't create new appointments through it - you still have to use the regular calendar.

It's a clever way of getting the "double tile" feel of the system Calendar, and each individual tile can flip to show you either how many appointments you have today, what the date is, or the calendar of the month you're in. The developer was asked about adding the ability to create new appointments through the app and they're considering it.

Yeah me neither, I gave it a try and it can't even sync into my live account. Looks really pretty though.

Sounds like a Android forum where people complain over anyting more than $1.

I'm more than happy to buy and support the few developers we have. How else will they stay with the system. Besides it's much nicer looking than the standard calendar and that's the whole point for me. Do I want to add an appointment I just do it in the calendar. Not a big deal.

I'm not complaining about the price, if I wanted a bunch of free apps then I would have an Android device. I'm just not willing to spend money on the app because I'd still end up keeping the Calendar Tile so I can add appointments. If they add support for that, I'll gladly buy it.

Not me, You still have to use the normal calendar anyway which makes it very very very pointless. Then they have the balls to charge more than 99$ cents for it? That will be like buying a Facebook app and then having to use the microsoft one anyway to post statuses.

It's not pointless as long as it looks way better than the ordinary calendar tiles. It's the only reason I bought it. To make the phone look better.

so ive been playing with wiztiles and i love it! actually you can add tiles for wifi, bluetooth, and airplane mode toggles! which is super cool! also you can make tiles 2 sided, so for exapmple on my maps tile, it flips to show a picture of a map i uploaded form the net. the only complaint i have thus far, is the phone and email tiles, as stated previously, only open specific contacts or mail. it wont open up the dialer or inbox... there are much more themes on xda that upload right to your phone via url... so its very easy, also you can use photoshop to make your own themes, also very easy! this is what we have been waiting for as far as tile custimization goes, we just to need more tasks added! but if people keep downloading this and show there is a demand , it will come! i encourage all to try it out and watch the video from george... also on youtube. mainly i enjoy the new look my phone has with all my tiles flipping!!! looks pretrty sweet!

and now the pro version is out, plus its only 99 cents...

I also use AppoinTile synced to my Gmail calendar. :D
Why is it good to me? Because I can easily see 3 upcoming appointments(not only 1). Tile also flips showing a 42 day calendar with real time agenda information. All that on my start screen. It lacks adding entries but looks like will come soon, as for now I only need to flick left and tap Calendar to add an entry, not a pain.
