Hi Guys, I just activated Cortana by selecting US region, and since I noticed that the "Loading" or "Resuming" appears more often than before especially whenever I open my text messages. Is there any setup I need to change or this is just normal?

It's not normal. Resuming or loading are place holders for CPU/IO activity and depending on what's running (services/processes) on your phone your experience may vary. Adding Cortana would not hinder performance unless you have it pinned to your start screen as a live tile. Also check the background tasks under battery saver and disable the ones not needed. Lastly (not necessary though) kill all the apps that you're done using from the task switcher.
