whats next after the 1520?

Just curious ... I know the 1520 is about 6-7 months old now. Is there any plans in the near future to come out with a newer model/version of it?

I am looking to buy a new phone in Aug/Sept and was curious if I should wait a little longer for a new update to the lumia series or not.

I am assuming they will not make it any bigger but they will just add new features to it.

Yup I believe 1530 is around the corners. It should support SD 801/802 with more ram if they want to add. A higher resolution display with 3D touch that was recently leaked / reported. Small camera bumps here and there.

Been wondering about this too. I have two 1520's. I do think the phone is good for another year because of its innards. Seems like anything new can only be added to the 1520, its little brother icon, or the 930, wherever that is.

Don't think Microsoft will add 4k red as it has taken them so long just to get fhd.

That's pretty much a Nexus 5 (I think) form factor that's made to look like a Lumia running Windows 8.x. I like the to-do tile concept though - maybe that'll be a customization option with the interactive live tiles.

The McLaren is rumoured to be the successor to 1020, not 1520.
