Yes, apparently I did manage to ask the right girl! ;-)

It was late Sunday evening, 20th of April. The event took place in the middle of the square in front of the Notre-Dame church in Paris. The square was romantically lit with flickering torches, while a street musician offered a great rendition of the song Stand By Me (original by Ben E. King). Although rather short, I still didn't have enough time to deliver the lines I intended to. She tear'ed up and cried "yes" before my knee touched the ground. ;-)

It was at that point, off to right side of the square, when the musician's audience took note, which resulted in the expected clapping followed by dancing. ;-)

T'was a great night to remember!

As soon as I read Notre-Dame.... I knew even I would have said yes! Such a beautiful spot! My favourite part de Paris.
