What's so special about Nokia Smart Cam?

I was just playing with it and it absolutely sucks. Photos were noisy and it doesn't even support flash. I took a regular pic with the stock camera and the quality of the pics smoked those captured with Smart Cam.

It doesn't suck if you can appreciate what it was made for, tap ⋮
and read the tutorial, there it will show you how to benefit from it's features, \
swipe each screen and then tap the words, pick, action etc.
The Pro Cam/built in can't remove a face and replace it with another face or remove
a person who has walked into the scene or do this,

I do acknowledge the usefullness of the app, however what OP says is true, the images are low res.

I remember that I read somewhere that the app snaps 5-10 pics of 1MP in a burst mode.

which one is Smart which is Pro Cam ?
Smart Cam settings are auto Pro Cam set on auto.
Images are 2834 x 1648 & 3105 x 1748 respectively
& both are 72 x 72 dpi
click 3 times for full image then you might be able to tell, but on Facefoot or Twitter or even Instascam I doubt it.
I chose a scene that would challenge the camera's auto exposure capabilities.



BTW this is using a Lumia 810 which is 8MP and doesn't have Pure View and Pro Cam's picture info says one of these pictures is 8MP
so no way that the Smart Cam is only 1MP. Compare and see.
