What's taking so long?

For us who use previews for developers, we are used to getting steady updates. There hasn't been an update in forever. Any ideas on when we will be getting another one?

With Microsoft now focusing on Windows 10 for desktops and mobile devices, I doubt we're going to see another update for 8.1, tbh. As far as I'm aware Microsoft is planning a PfD Windows 10 for mobile launch some time early 2015. We'll hopefully be knowing more after January, 21st.

Now that Denim/Windows Phone 8.1 Update is starting to roll out, PfD is winding down; it's job is done.
