Lumia camera experts - Why is my L920 taking such crappy pictures now?

I bought it (used) in June. It took very nice pictures then. I typically leave it on auto and use Lumia Camera as my camera app.

These were taken under various lighting conditions a few months ago using Lumia Camera set to auto. Im not a camera pro but they look pretty good. Very clear & sharp.

Fast forward to around September and they start looking hazy. Like there is a light fog covering the whole shot. Not as crisp. They just look bad.

What do you think? I havent dropped my phone or made any changes that I can think of. I ran some diagnostic tests and the phone and camera check out. I'm running 8.1 Denim GDR2......

Help!

How's the lenses itself? Is it clean? Sometimes something on the lenses can make it appear hazy.

I think your lens is dirty....on the inside. so you may have to do a disassembly. this can happen as I am figuring youre in a hot climate and condensation has kicked in....(I live in the Caribbean so it happens to me as well)
best bet is to disassemble and clean the lens...be careful! *do this at your own risk*
if youre using a case sometimes its good to take it off every once in a while and just let the device naturally cool and let the moisture escape.

Yeah, I do live in a hot climate, Viet Nam, and the rainy season just ended. August and September are the worst months which corresponds to the time it started looking bad. The phone was inexpensive and out of warranty so I may give it a go doing it myself... Thanks
