What's wrong with the Store app?

What's actually happening, won't launch, crashing, not able to install apps, not showing updates, updates not installing or all of the above???

I find it to be one of the most inconsistent aspects of W10M bar none. Have three WPs with the App Store behaving differently on all, not to mention it's an utter slug. So it doesn't surprise me you are having issues, just a question of your specifics.
 
So, if I wait will it resolve itself?

If it's the apps themselves not updating then I'd say yes it will... Again, your question is pretty vague and a little more info on the specifics would surely help others in answering.
 
store not working for me either. I have 2 apps with updates available and tried to download a new one and all give error code 0x80071AC3. I am on Windows 10 (not Insider), happens on both wifi or LTE. been this way for a couple of days and I've done soft reset.
