whatsapp again, have notification problem

Hey guys I got very annoying problem with whatsapp and that is- I dont get notified about NEW message from ONLY ONE PERSON. by NEW msg I mean only the 1st msg friend sends me, for the rest conversation I always get notification. And by ONE person I mean- I dont get notification only when she sends me msg (her "Hi" "Hello" msg). with other people I dont have any issue. I have whatsapp set on lock screen and it shows me I have 1 new msg. also on lock screen whatsapp is chosen as " to show detailed status" and it does show me part of msg. But again no notification. Last msg from her was about an hour ago, and I missed it, read it only 50+ minutes after it was sent. This happens 9 times out of 10 when she writes me. Any idea how can I fix this? every single day it makes me apologize for late reply ))

ps. my device is L928, most of the time connected to wifi (problem appears with wifi/data connection) and it happens when she writes (start) first
