Whatsapp image issue, how can I fix it?

Whattaspp image issue

I have been using whattapp on my windows phone for a number of months without a problem, but earlier this week I started having problems with seeing images that I receive from whattsapp. These remain blurry without being downloaded.

I also have problems with images I send, with contact not getting the image

Appreciate your help

(I did try uninstalling and reinsallting app, did not work !)

Tried restarting your phone? The same issue occurred on my mother's Android phone and a restart fixed it.

this has happened a number of days ago, I did reboot the phone

Issue still there

Tried connecting to a different Wi-Fi or cellular network?
