But seeing that the beta gets regular updates (Instagram it self is still in beta, wew) is depressing. Obviously the strike part was exaggerated.
And yes, design update? nah not now. Get the feature and big fix update and then we will whine about a design update.

It was actually exaggerated :-D
I did not say that we need UI improvement in upcoming update, but put a thought how beautiful the UI would look if it gets redesigned

But why can't they release the app first, and then regular patches later? Why do they have to hold the release for so long? I see iOS and Android releasing fixes as well as new features now and then. Why apps, especially the core ones, on Windows Phones always get the screws up? Flipboard becomes Scrollboard, Instagram still in the bloody BETA, Facebook app is still full of crap, Messenger loads messages as if it is grabbing them from the another planet, etc etc. Everything just don't go well.

Flipboars team explained why its scrolling and not flipping!
Instagram I don't know/care.
Facebook does its job.
Messenger is quite fast now (on 830).
