Whatsapp not working after GDR1

whatsapp is not working after i updated to windows phone 8.1 gdr1 upadte and my phone is getting to much heated up

My 1020 updated perfectly, and everything seems to be working correctly now everything has re-installed.

My 520 wasn't quite so smooth... It appeared to update OK, but when poking around I noticed that neither Whatsapp or Nokia Camera would open... Simply solved this by uninstalling both apps, and re-downloading them from the WP Store. Hope this helps!

I had the same problem, just uninstall and install the app to solve it.
