WhatsApp is not working in my Lumia 730, while the time I can receive the messages on notification panel but unable to open the WhatsApp.

Which OS are using? If Windows 10 Mobile, which build? Have you tried a soft reset?

I'd try uninstalling and reinstalling WhatsApp.
